Gainesville Harley-Davidson, Gainesville, FL & Buell opened it's doors in February of 1993 as the dream of Ray & Gail Lytle. The first store front located only a couple blocks from the current facility, was a small 5,000 square foot building. With the demands of customers and the continued growth of the business. Ray and Gail moved the dealership to its current location in 1995. In 1998, the acquisition of Buell® American Motorcycles by Harley-Davidson brought the Buell name home to Gainesville. Ray Lytle unfortunately passed away in 2001. Thanks to the efforts of the dedicated employees and the loyal customer base that we had built, Gainesville Harley-Davidson was able to keep its doors open. In 2003 we went through an extensive re-modeling process into the current building we occupy right now. The business that started in a small store front is now a 20,000 sq.ft. dealership, and is still family owned and operated by Gail Lytle and her sons Paul and Kevin.
